Steve Brady

In the dictionary, a picture of Steve Brady lies next to the definition of “excellence.” Steve parlayed outstanding athletic ability with a tremendous work ethic to forge an unforgettable career. He was a member of the football, indoor track and baseball teams. As a football player, Steve quarterbacked the 1980 squad to a conference championship and was named All-Conference and All-Group 2 teams and was selected to play in the prestigious North/South all-star game. He also received numerous honors for his baseball career, including All Group 2 in his junior and senior years.
Following graduation, Steve accepted an appointment to the United States Naval Academy and chose to focus on football. He performed admirably and earned All-East honors in his senior year and was selected as the Brooks Irvine Division I college football player of the year in 1985. Following graduation from the Academy, Steve entered the ultra competitive and grueling Navy SEAL school where he graduated first in his class. Steve then turned his efforts to medical school where he graduated second in his class and he currently is an ocular surgeon. He and his family (wife and two young sons) live in Clarksville, Tennessee.
