Gail Shelly
Gail Shelly knows basketball. Although she also made significant contributions to the softball and track teams (Twice named All Conference as a softball pitcher,) it was on the hardwood that she made her name. Gail was a four time MVP of the hoopsters, leading her team to a South Jersey title in her junior year and culminated her career by leading her team to a state championship in her senior year. She was named to the All Conference team in all four Varsity Years, received All-South Jersey recognition in both her junior and senior seasons and was named to the All-State team as a senior. She holds the school records for points in one game (44), season (740) and career (1,914.) She followed her high school exploits with four successful seasons at James Madison University. She is currently teaching at Timber Creek High School.
