Jennifer Thompson In 1983, it was hard to find a post-season list of honorees that did NOT contain the name Jennifer Thompson. A true multi-sport athlete, Jennifer excelled in field hockey, basketball and softball. . Described by one coach as an intense competitor, Jennifer combined scoring ability with playmaking skills. She received second team all- Colonial Conference honors in all three sports as a junior and improved to first team in all three sports as a senior. Even more impressive was her selection to the All South Jersey first teams in hockey and basketball as a senior as well as being named MVP in both sports. After graduation, Jennifer headed down to the Tar Heel state where she attended Lenoir Rhyne College. There, she received her BA in Physical Education with a concentration in sports medicine and was a member of the women’s basketball team throughout her college years. Jennifer now lives in the Lancaster area where she is the Executive Director of St. Joseph Health Ministries.
