Siobhan Kernan
Like Greg Williams, the pool was one of the places where Siobhan Kernan excelled. Each fall, she made major contributions to Coach Lorie Foster’s tennis teams as a three year letter winner, co-captain and MVP in her senior year, multiple all group performer (and a member of the first team to defeat Haddonfield in 25 years.) Her teams captured South Jersey sectional titles in each of those years. Despite all of her success in tennis, it was as a diver that she gained the majority of her fame. She earned four letters in diving and was a four time conference all star and three time All South Jersey selection. She was dominant in the state championship meet, sandwiching a runner-up finish in her junior year with championships in her sophomore and senior years. Her collegiate career contained more of the same. She attended the University of Wisconsin and once again earned four Varsity letters. She was twice Wisconsin Diver of the Year, holds two Wisconsin pool records and six times qualified as a finalist in Big Ten competition. Siobhan now lives in Minneapolis where she is a sales representative for Thomson West Publishing.
