Chuck Moser

The Haddon Township Athletic Hall of Fame includes a category for individuals to be inducted for contributions to the community. This year’s selection, Chuck Moser, epitomizes the character of person who wants to help students.

A graduate of Collingswood High School where he participated on the football and wrestling teams, Chuck moved to Haddon Township to raise his sons. He worked his way through the ranks of the High School wrestling officials association to become a highly rated Varsity official. As his boys got older, he became actively involved in HTAA baseball, football and wrestling and was named Coach of the Year numerous times. He was described as a man “always willing to help anyone, but particularly young kids to develop a passion for sports and to be the best they could be.” Sadly, Chuck suffered through a terminal illness and passed away. However, his contributions still echo through his influence on a generation of young men that learned from his passion and determination.
