Ryan Preziosi As a freshman, Ryan Preziosi was already an accomplished athlete, lettering in baseball and gymnastics, where he was named All South Jersey. Unfortunately, his gymnastics career was derailed because of an injury but since the injury did not prevent affect his ability to play football, the Hawk football coaches enthusiastically accepted him into the football program. His prowess enabled him to be named to two all conference teams and earned him a place on the all South Jersey third team. He also participated in the physical fitness competitions pioneered by Pete Williams and George Maier and placed first in the pull-up and overall competitions in the Colonial Conference Physical Fitness meet and well as capturing the first place title in the Tri State Marine Corps Meet. But it was in baseball that he had his most success. Following his successful freshman debut, he continued to excel and received three all conference, three All Group, one All South Jersey and one All State placements and twice was named to represent the Colonial Conference in the prestigious Carpenter Cup. He continued his baseball career at the University of Delaware, lettering all four years and helping to lead the team to three conference championships. Returning to South Jersey, he has been a teacher at West Deptford Middle School and has demonstrated the breadth of his athletic abilities by coaching baseball and girl’s field hockey. He now lives in Laurel Springs, NJ with his wife Kristen.
