Todd Young

Each March, one of the most grueling of athletic treks is undertaken by wrestlers. Thousands of grapplers start competition hoping to be the last one standing in Atlantic City. Only fourteen wrestlers each year succeed and end the season having one arm raised in the air by the referee and able to claim the title of State Champion. Todd Young is one of only two Hawk wrestlers who can make this claim.
A four year varsity wrestler, Todd captured the district 28 championship in every year of his high school career. As a junior, he advanced one step further and captured the region 7 championship only to lose in the State level competition. As a senior, when he wrestled in the 129 pound weight class, it all came together and Todd reached the pinnacle of high school wrestling. After again winning the district 28 and region 7 titles, Todd capped off a career in which he went 96-9-1 by capturing that coveted state championship.
After living in California for a time, Todd recently moved back into the area. He is married to wife Tracy and they were recently blessed with a daughter. He now works as a partner in the Township Title Agency and Brink Mortgage and spends his free time golfing, fishing and traveling.
